Update: 0-7-0

An update on an earlier post from a few days ago.  I mentioned that Toronto FC had begun the Major League Soccer season as 0-6-0, one loss shy of the record.  Tonight against Real Salt Lake, Toronto fell to 0-7-0, tying the Kansas City Wizards of 1999 with the worst start in MLS history.  Toronto nearly avoided this forgettable record when they tied the match at 2-2 in the 77th minute.  However, Real Salt Lake would strike back to score the winning goal in the 90th minute of regulation.  Toronto's next match is against D.C. United in Toronto next Saturday.  D.C. United is second in the Eastern Conference right now, and another loss for Toronto would provide them sole possession of the record.  It is worth nothing, their following game is two weeks later, again against D.C. United.
