Update: Worst of the Worst

I wrote a couple days ago about the Charlotte Bobcat's pursuit to become the worst team ever in the history of the NBA.  Tonight, they pulled off this feat by ending their season with a losing streak of 23 games.  It gives them an overall record of 7-59 for the 2011-12 season.  They lost their final game of the season to the New York Knicks by 20 points to clinch.  Not at all good on either offense or defense, the Bobcats averaged only 87 points a game (32nd, last in the NBA) and allowed 100.9 points per game (29th in the NBA).  Better luck next year Charlotte.
